Tehran Sugar Refinery Factories, by establishing a suitable water treatment plant within its production process and utilizing up-to-date equipment for the reuse of consumed water, treats all wastewater and reuses it for irrigating green spaces and other required purposes.
This has reduced environmental pollution to a minimum and, by maintaining suitable green spaces within and around the factory, the complex plays a significant role in preserving and protecting the environment in the Sirjan Special Economic Zone.
